The girls and I arrived on time yesterday into Portland. The girls were ecstatic to see Daddy. I couldn't get the stroller seat belt off Bella fast enough...thought she was going to take off running with that thing around her legs :)
We came home to a ton of snow...it's over Madison's head in places--seriously! We may try to get out in it tomorrow afternoon, when Patrick gets home from work. Pics to come :)
Oh, and just a side note...my climbing little monkey (Bella), tried to crawl out of her crib tonight--and I was downstairs cleaning, when I heard the big thud of her hitting the hardwood floor in her bedroom...poor baby. She had been used to climbing out of the pack-n-play in Alabama so easily, she didn't know what hit her when she crashed to the floor. She cried and cried and then finally went to sleep. I don't know what we'll do, because she sure can't get in a toddler bed already!!
We had to put a bed on the floor at just about this age (18 mos) for both of mine! RJ did the same thing... crashed to the ground, but at least he hit carpet. Payton started to do the same thing so we were proactive with her. It's a huge step moving from the crib to bed!
