On the home stretch...

So, this week, we close on our house. We'll spend the next week unpacking and getting things ready to move in! I am hoping by May 10 or so, we'll be ready to at least sleep there :) It will be great to get back on a routine, with our own beds, although I have loved spending so much time at Maw Maw and Paw Paw's, Mom's, and Dad's. Here's our cute little house. It's small, but adorable, and we can't wait to get settled in!!!!

First Day of Preschool/Daycare in Alabama...

Okay, so today was rough...I think more for me than the girls...as I dropped them off with strangers this morning, I wondered would they be scarred for life...(they were painting and playing, oblivious to my concerns). Bella was an easy sell--they showed her the paints and she left my side quicker than I could blink. She was shutting the gate to the paint area to keep everyone else out (including me!!) Madison was slow to let go of Mommy. She held on tight for a bit, until we circled the whole class, and the teacher got her started with some stickers. I can't imagine them sleeping on little cots, but it will be very good to get them into a sleeping routine, once they do get used to it.

As I left, the center director said I could call to check on the girls...oh, she sure doesn't know me...I'll be back up there in a few hours to check for myself... :)

Home sweet home...

So nice to be HOME...sad that I am leaving already tomorrow for work. BUT, Patrick will be here by the time I get back, so that will be GREAT! The girls and I have missed him this week and are ready to have our family back together! He'll be coming home every weekend or every other weekend, so once we get settled into the house, we'll be able to get into a good routine with the four of us. LOVING THE SUNSHINE, LOVING BEING BACK WITH EVERYONE...
