On the move...

So, it's official...moving to Alabama at the end of this month. While, I am so happy, I am nervous, anxious, a little freaked out... The project manager side of me has definitely kicked in gear--making lists, budgets, phone calls to get things in order. I am dreading packing up all the boxes, but also would rather do so than have stuff packed by strangers and not be able to find anything...I just put in an order for this kit(picture)...about 130 boxes!! OMG!!

Confession...

Ok, so anyone that knows me knows that I usually don't do things half way...Well, that came to fruition today at the Wendy's drive through line. I seriously couldn't decide what I wanted. So...here's what I ordered--grilled chicken sandwich combo (biggie size) with Coke, baked potato, and grilled chicken salad. Yeah, I ate it ALL...I can't believe myself. That's happened more times than I would like to admit lately. Chick-Fil-A, Chipotle, Wendy's, KFC...get enough food to feed 2-3 people and eat it all. I haven't gained weight, but sure haven't lost any. How much could I lose without eating a meal like this?

A little about a new process we have been implementing at work...really awesome, effective way of handling projects we are working on...None of my family/friends really know what my job is, so I wanted to share this, that talks about one part of my job. I am the "product owner" in this video.

Nanny sent me a message that she walked around the corner for a second, and this is what Bella looked like when she turned back around :)  Somehow she tried to get her shirt off or something and ended up kinda twisted up...

Early Valentine's Day...

I will be in Wisconsin for work on Valentine's day, so we gave the girls their valentines' goodies today. Both girls were on a sugar high with bugged out eyes by 10am... Here's Madison's valentines to give to her classmates--they have a Valentine's day party tomorrow. (Thanks, Mel, for letting me steal your idea...Madison loved it!)

Later in the day, as I was packing my suitcase, Bella was chillin on the bed, playing on the iPad. She thinks she's such a big girl :) I miss my little boogies already...

Personality...

This little stinker has a very VIBRANT personality... She is sweet and funny one minute and then spitting fire, screaming the next.

Turbulence...

I consider myself a seasoned traveler, but the flight from New York LaGuardia to Tampa this afternoon was R-O-U-G-H! Turbulence most of the three hours. Upon descent, I actually threw up in my mouth a couple of times and got out the "puke bag". Luckily, I did not have to use it...but still was the worst I've been on a flight, so I thought I'd share the moment :)

Workout for the day...

Have you ever tried pushing a full shopping cart through snow? Here is my empty cart, that I STRUGGLED with--getting it to the cart rack, but when it was full!?!?!? OMG...I parked in the fourth spot from the front, and it took me about 8-10 minutes to get to the car...lots of backing up and trying to ramp over mounds of snow. Shopping carts up here need skis on bottom, instead of wheels!

Snow, snow, and more snow...

So, today, we have a break from the snow, but Saturday, we are supposed to get another 8 inches! It's hard to see just how much snow there is without a reference to heighth, but I am telling you...the snow is just to the bottom of the slide on the swingset...unreal.

Good to be home...

The girls and I arrived on time yesterday into Portland. The girls were ecstatic to see Daddy. I couldn't get the stroller seat belt off Bella fast enough...thought she was going to take off running with that thing around her legs :)

We came home to a ton of snow...it's over Madison's head in places--seriously! We may try to get out in it tomorrow afternoon, when Patrick gets home from work. Pics to come :)

Oh, and just a side note...my climbing little monkey (Bella), tried to crawl out of her crib tonight--and I was downstairs cleaning, when I heard the big thud of her hitting the hardwood floor in her bedroom...poor baby. She had been used to climbing out of the pack-n-play in Alabama so easily, she didn't know what hit her when she crashed to the floor. She cried and cried and then finally went to sleep. I don't know what we'll do, because she sure can't get in a toddler bed already!!
