Homework

Man...Bella girls loves her homework!  Madison has been very sweet and encouraging to her too about it.  :)  Here's a video of them tonight sitting at the kitchen table working.

Cheer Pics

Madison had cheer pics today, and we researched on Pinterest for some possible individual poses.  She found too many she liked to just do one, so we did the "Heisman" for her official pose and then took these others.

Of course, she had to take a pic with her buddy, Kolby :)

Our Crew..

We are enjoying nice afternoons out with the pups in the backyard this week!  I have been lounging/napping on the trampoline while they play.  Most people would call this insanity, I call it love...

Bella's First Day of Kindergarten!!

Bella is such a hoot...as we were leaving the house, she said "I can't wait to go to school!"  Patrick made her requested breakfast--cinnamon rolls and bacon.  After her breakfast, we went outside for pics, and she hammed it up.

When we got to her classroom, she really had no problem with us leaving and was playing with a classmate when we left.  We did have to warn her teacher that she was known for conning her pre-k teacher into thinking she hadn't had breakfast and didn't have lunch packed.  It was a good month, last year, before we realized she was also eating breakfast and lunch at school (in addition to what we ate and home and sent for her lunch).

Madison's First Day of 3rd Grade!!

She is so excited and even got up at 5am this morning in anticipation of her first day!  She has had her first week's outfits picked out for well over a week now, so getting dressed was quick and easy.  She looks beautiful.

We had her favorite breakfast this morning--sausage, egg, and cheese quiche.  So, now that we've had breakfast, had our vitamins, and double-checked everything is in the bookbag, it's time to go!

Madison's Tumbling Lessons

Madison has been taking tumbling lessons along with her competitive cheer practices.  To help her get her back handspring more quickly, we've had Ms. Lexi come to our house once a week for private lessons.  She has made a ton of progress, and today I was surprised to see her do a front walkover, round-off, back handspring!!

Bella's Kindergarten Meet and Greet

Bella had her kindergarten meet and greet today!  She LOVES her teacher and is very excited.  She has Ms. Hall, the same teacher Madison had for kindergarten.

I can't believe my baby is going to be in kindergarten, and I thought long and hard about not sending her.  It seemed Madison was so much bigger and older when she went.  I am going to be a wreck, but she is excited, and that's all that matters! 

Photography Lessons...

Watching photography lessons online and practicing some of the things I am learning....still working on getting the lighting just right and the focus on the subject with the background blurred :)  Loving playing with this, and I have very willing test subjects!!
